Lauren Greenfield is one of the best photographers around and she makes great documentaries. I saw her most recent documentary — Kids + Money — on HBO and I wish I had it to show you because it’s shot beautifully. (Dang. I used to have access to tons of free DVDs). But here’s the intro. Notice the headroom. Notice how she composes the frame when she does her interviews. Gorgeous.
